Japanese 151 Reprint!

For the first time since 2020, Japan's Pokemon Center website is now offering booster boxes of recent sets with significantly fewer restrictions. This development signals a notable increase in production output, a pledge they've been aiming to fulfill since 2021.
All sets released since October 2023 have been restocked, and customers can purchase up to two booster boxes of the following sets: Wild Force, Cyber Judge, Ancient Roar, Future Flash, and Shiny Treasure EX. For Crimson Haze, one booster box per customer is allowed.
The availability of booster boxes for direct sale marks a significant departure from the frequent unavailability experienced in the past, where the Pokemon Center website often remained empty due to everything being sold out.
In recent years, Pokemon Japan attempted to address supply issues by implementing lotteries and made-to-order sales.
Last week, stores in Japan received a substantial supply of Crimson Haze. Notably, one store, BAR UNKNOWN, even tweeted about not needing to set up reservations due to the ample stock.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that Pokemon Japan has initiated a new print run of Pokemon Card 151, with restocking scheduled for May in stores. This set was last offered as made-to-order in June 2023.
The news of the 151 reprint has already led to a decline in booster box prices on SNKRDUNK, a Japanese marketplace website. Previously priced at around 20,000 yen ($132) for the past month, it has now dropped to 15,625 yen (£79.20), the lowest since the set's initial release. Expectations are that prices will further decrease as the boxes will retail for 5,800 yen (£30.10).
This positive development signals a step toward normalization in the supply of Pokemon TCG products, indicating progress in addressing previous scarcity issues.
